The Snow Defense Snow Plow is 7 1/2' wide, 26" tall, weighs 310 lbs. and is probably the strongest homeowner plow on the market today. Made in the U.S. by a National Defense Contractor, the plow is very user friendly, dependable, and is made to move snow effortlessly. The plow features dual angling rods for manually angling the blade and In Cab Controls for raising and lowering the plow. The plow can be converted to a fully hydraulic plow with the low cost hydraulic option available in the Fall of 2012. The Snow Defense plow is attached to the vehicle using a Front Mounted Hitch Receiver which can be purchased separately. The Front Mounted Hitch Receiver provides for more flexibility and utility when compared to the single use feature of the standard mounting bracket on many plows. Attaching the plow to the vehicle just got easier. Two pivot adjustment screws on the plow allow for a quick and easy attachment every time when installing the plow on the vehicle. The entire attaching process can be done by one person, without tools in minutes. Standard Features include 2 Heavy Duty Trip Springs on the back of the blade which allows the blade to trip forward when an obstacle is encountered, a HP Electric Winch for raising and lowering the blade, Dual Angling Rods for manually angling the blade, 3/8" Long Lasting Steel Cutting Edge, Snow Deflector, 2 Blade Markers, and a convenient jack for installing and removing the plow.
